A: Bluetooth & Location services are necessary to find & connect to your device. Without these permissions, the app wouldn't be able to function properly!

I've had my Carta Sport for about 2 or 3 months now. At first, this rig is amazing and easily replaced any current or future rigs I had. For awhile it worked perfectly, cleaning was easy, I didnt need a torch, and I had it whenever I wanted it. But, all things beautiful come with problems. The Bluetooth capabilities remind me of the early 2000s when Bluetooth first released. constantly losing connection even when it should be stable, the rig just forgetting its on entirely. I cannot recommend

App connects part of the time. Can't save settings... well sometimes they can save and sometimes they wont. either my device came broken or the app is. Either way, this device may be going back as this is unacceptable for the price point. One of the best ways to verify functionality is by the data that is being presented by the app....well, app isn't connecting, can't test functionality. Will try app on another device and see how it goes. Will update raring if it clears itself up

I like the functionality that the app adds to my og Carta, but I agree with other people that the slide to warm function is mostly broken. I would much prefer a button to tap. I also think the 18 degree increments don't allow me to tailor my experience quite as much as I would like. Other than that, I love the ease with which I can set and access presets, and the speed at which the device heats when I can get the app to work for warming.
