Forcepoint Mobile Agent Forcepoint Mobile Agent is an enterprise security application deployed by your organization's IT administrator to protect corporate data and enforce security policies on managed Android devices. The Forcepoint Mobile Agent enables productivity via secure access to corporate resources while protecting the user's mobile device from web threats. ------ Enterprise VPN & Traffic Security This app uses Android's VpnService API to establish a secure VPN connection between your device and your organization's Forcepoint security infrastructure. This connection is required to:
- Route device traffic through your organization's web filtering and security policies - Enforce data loss prevention (DLP) controls on corporate network traffic - Protect against malicious websites, phishing, and unauthorized data exfiltration - Ensure compliance with your organization's acceptable use policies
The VPN is managed and configured exclusively by your IT administrator via mobile device management (MDM). End users cannot modify VPN settings. ------ Device Management & Registration - Registers your device with the Forcepoint backend as a managed enterprise endpoint - Syncs security configuration automatically from your organization's MDM policy - Reports device compliance status to your IT administrator ------ Security & Integrity - Continuously monitors device integrity to detect rooted or compromised devices - Alerts IT administrators to security policy violations ------ Important Notes - This app is intended for enterprise use only and must be deployed via MDM - The VPN connection does not route personal app traffic outside of your organization's defined security policies - All configuration is controlled by your IT administrator
