A HEAD START WITH FRENCH FLASHCARDS FOR KIDS
Young children pick up a second language the way they picked up their first: by hearing a word many times while looking at the thing it names. Each card shows one large picture and plays one clearly spoken word, at a pace a small child can follow. That is the whole method.

IF YOU DO NOT SPEAK IT YOURSELF

Pick one set and stay with it for a few days rather than racing through all twelve. Five attentive minutes beat twenty distracted ones. During the day, name the things out loud that you met on a card that morning.
