About this app

ForeThought is an office suite for your phone that keeps your files on your device. Open, edit and create documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDFs and Markdown notes without an account and without sending your work to a cloud.

What you can do
- Documents: open and save .docx files, with headings, lists, tables and images.
- Spreadsheets: open and save .xlsx files, with formulas that recalculate as you type.
- Presentations: open and save .pptx files, edit slides and text.
- PDF: read and annotate PDF files.
- Markdown: write notes with formatting, saved as plain .md files.
- Open files from Downloads, Google Drive or any app, and share your work to email, chat or Drive from the file menu.

Private by design
Your documents are stored in the app's private storage on this phone. The app makes no network connection of its own. Purchases go through Google Play, and your subscription is confirmed on the phone itself.

English and Arabic
The whole app works in English and Arabic, with right-to-left layout in every editor and Arabic fonts included.

Subscription
ForeThought is free to install. Without a subscription you can open, read and share your documents. Creating and editing them needs a subscription, which includes a 60-day free trial for new subscribers. After the trial it costs QAR 99 a year (or the equivalent in your local currency), billed by Google Play. Cancel any time in Google Play; if you cancel during the trial you pay nothing.
