ForgeRock Authenticator works in conjunction with the ForgeRock Identity Platform to deliver secure, yet easy access to apps and services.
Users can register their phones, using QR codes, to receive notifications or generate One-Time Passwords which can be used to securely log in.

ForgeRock Authenticator works with OpenAM's "ForgeRock Authenticator (OATH)" or "ForgeRock Authenticator (Push)" authentication modules.

I've been using the app for several years for 2-factor authentication. I wish I never would have started using it. First, the latest update doesn't work. I'm unable to access authentication data I've set up for over 20 sources. Second, there's no way to backup your data or migrate it elsewhere. Which is why I've hung onto this app for so long. I'm thinking I really should probably just be happy the Forgerock update screwed up all of my two factor authentication accounts I had set up. Now I can set up Google Authenticator, which offers backups and data transfers.

I don't understand why no data backup or data transfer option available. What a stupidity. How many year a phone needs to be used without changing it so that this aap can be used? And do the phones receive unlimeted OS updates so that we can stick on to tjis app? What if the phone gets some problem and the service centre says they need to reflash or Factory reset the phone? This app is just a pain to use. No backup amd dat migration features. Outdated thought process.

Inconvenient - On motorola devices, forgerock account gets deleted after Android security patch update. If this issue is fixed I'll change the rating to 2 stars. Not Optimised - Somethimes it takes ~20 seconds to come to the otp screen. Fix it and I'll give 3 star. Unreliable - The reson I have to open the app is because push notifications doesn't work mostly. Make it reliable like other authenticators. Just copy the Microsoft Authenticator code for god's sake. Then I'll give 4 stars.
