For anyone holding too many threads.

If your attention jumps between contexts all day, if the things people say and the things you think all seem to slip through the cracks, Throughline will catch them for you. It's a voice-first external memory for a scattered mind — somewhere to put a thought down the second it shows up, out loud, and trust it's still there later.

2. It organizes your thoughts. Every thread filed where it belongs.

JUST TALK — IT SORTS THE REST
Ramble a whole brain dump in one go and Throughline splits it into separate threads, then files each one:

• Tasks — the things you actually have to do
• Notes — the thought or idea you want to keep, not act on
• Appointments — added to your calendar, then tucked into Coming up once they've happened
• Lists — say "start a grocery list: eggs, coffee, the good bread" and tick it off later. Add to any list by voice, anytime
• Intentions — the standing "exercise more" kind of aim, held to three at a time so it stays honest

You can organize by voice too. Say "move the slideshow to Work", "complete the dentist", or "make a project called Wedding" — and it just happens.

GENTLE REMINDERS
Say "remind me 15 minutes before" while you capture, and it's set — one quiet heads-up from Throughline before the moment, then it lets go. Ask for an alarm when something truly can't be missed. Never a nag, never an overdue badge.

BUILT FOR BUSY, JUMPY ATTENTION
If your focus leaps between a dozen contexts — classes, clients, kids, projects — this is built for exactly that. Offload a thread the second it shows up, trust that it's held, and stay present with what's in front of you. People who think in tangents — ADHD, neurodivergent, or just plain overloaded — tend to find that talking is the only capture that keeps up with them.

NOT A TO-DO LIST. NO GUILT PILE.
Throughline will never show you an overdue counter, a broken streak, or an ever-growing pile of everything you haven't done. Closing a loop counts two ways: finish it, or deliberately let it go. Both are a win. A list you're afraid to open isn't external memory — it's a second job.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Personal details — names, places, numbers — are stripped on your device first, so the cloud only ever sees a de-identified version of what you said.

Cloud features (cleaner capture, a smarter morning pick, your email digest) are on to start, and the first time you open the app it tells you exactly who does what: AI by Anthropic, email delivery by Resend, and voice transcribed by Google's speech service for accuracy. Prefer your speech never left the phone? Turn on "Keep voice on-device" in the You tab. Any of it can be switched off, anytime.

No ads. No tracking. We don't sell your data.

What’s new

• Choosing "Keep everything on-device" — or turning Smart capture (cloud) off — now also stops de-identified copies of your captures from being sent to us. It should have all along; now it does.
• The consent screen and the You tab now say exactly what your phone strips before anything reaches the AI (name detection on Android is still limited), and that nothing from the Android app is kept right now.
