The app requires access to storage in order to be able to scan all files.
To monitor downloaded files and perform scheduled scans and regular updates, it is required to have a foreground service, therefor notifications permissions must be granted for the application.

No files are ever uploaded to cloud services, in most cases only hashes and in rare cases some information about the files (path, hash, name, size) and names of the installed applications are sent to the cloud service for detection purposes.
No PII is collected or processed in any way, on the device or cloud based services.

I have send messages on line requesting to reset my password & no reply. I have an account on computers but want to add to my phone and can't remember the correct password? On the computer the program works well, but there seems to be some type of issue getting any email response as there is no published customer service number.

Fortect Browsing Protection is not included with the Purchase of the PC Subscription which it damn well should be and the only way you can get it is if you have a very pricy multi device subscription - nor do they offer mobile version available through IAP. Sorry Fortet I cacan't recommend your mobile version. Your pc version while excellent its very pricy and the mobile app should have been included. So unfortunately the mobile app is going to be un-installed and I'll stick with Malwarebytes.

Trash app there no way to register for a new account or sign up on mobile devices I hit create a account it send me to your site but no where to register a account which another scam app 😠.false advertising just got a message back say there is no 7 days free trial but in there it say register a 7 day free trial they have lie to there third party. I would not recommend this too a friend this app seems to be fishy like a scam.
