About this app

ByHuman is a tiny utility that stamps a short "written by a human, not AI" badge onto anything you type. Emails, posts, comments, essays, that reply you spent twenty minutes on. Your words. Your signature.

TWO WAYS TO USE IT
1. Quick Settings Tile. Add the ByHuman tile to your Quick Settings. Pull down the shade in any app, tap the tile, your badge lands on the clipboard. Long-press the text field and Paste — done.
2. Gboard Text Shortcut. In Gboard settings, register a trigger like ;nai that expands to your badge. Works everywhere a keyboard does.

CUSTOMIZE IT
The main app has a tech-brutalist dark interface: pick from five templates or type your own. The badge autosaves and follows you across the tile and any Text shortcut you've set up.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
ByHuman does not read what you type. It does not track you. It does not connect to any server. Your badge is stored locally on your device. There is no account, no login, no analytics.

WHY
The internet is filling up with AI-generated text. This tool is a small, obvious way to mark your writing as yours. It will not stop anyone from faking a badge, but among people who care, a visible marker is better than nothing.
