Envoy is a simple Bitcoin wallet with powerful account management and privacy features.

Use Envoy alongside your Passport hardware wallet for setup, firmware updates, and more.

Envoy offers the following features:

2. Manage your mobile wallet and Passport hardware wallet accounts in the same app.

3. Send and receive Bitcoin in a zen-like interface.

4. Connect your Passport hardware wallet for setup, firmware updates, and support videos. Use Envoy as your software wallet connected to your Passport.

5. Fully open source and privacy preserving. Envoy optionally connects to the Internet with Tor for maximum privacy.

6. Optionally connect your own Bitcoin node.

Ratings and reviews

Generally speaking, any saver will want to use cold wallets, but this is as good as it gets for a mobile wallet in security, ease of use, and reliability. Learning the different functions of the wallet is very easy, because clear descriptors of what's going on label part of each screen. Overall, it's perfect for a small amount you need to carry around for spending, and not large amounts (because no phone wallet is for large amounts 😉).

I've been using the Envoy app for a while now, and I must say, the Magic Backups feature is nothing short of amazing! It provides a secure way to back up my mobile wallet metadata without compromising my privacy. The fact that no personal data is collected, and the encryption process keeps everything safe, is a major plus. Kudos to the developers for this innovative and user-friendly app! Highly recommend! 👍😄

1. in Envoy android mobile app, in homescreen then Accounts add settings option toggle switch to be able to choose which crypto account to automatically opens itself (by default) when launching starting opening the app. example. I have 3 bitcoin accounts n want the 1st account to be launched automatically and land me on send receive screen..without neeeding to tap. If only 1 Btc accouunt exists. allow it to be chosen too 2. add dark mode to the app. its 2025 please. why no dark black theme?

In Envoy v2.1.1 we squashed a lot of bugs so we encourage all our users to update to have a more smooth and solid Envoy experience. Since Magic Backups have also been improved, we encourage everyone to perform a Magic Backup after the upgrade!
