About this app

Free up space on your phone without giving up your privacy. Mopie scans your storage on the device itself, shows you exactly what's taking up room, and deletes only what you choose. Nothing is ever removed automatically.

FIND WHAT'S WASTING SPACE

- Duplicate files – Exact copies of photos, videos, music, documents, and archives, found by comparing what's inside the files, not their names. The original of every set is locked unless you unlock it.
- Large files – Everything over 500 MB, biggest first. Old videos, forgotten downloads, archives and installers.
- Similar photos – Bursts, retakes and near-identical shots, grouped into sets. The sharpest is marked Best Shot and kept unless you unlock it.
- Similar videos – Near-identical clips, matched by their frames and length. The best clip is marked Best Take and kept unless you unlock it.
- Blurry photos – Out-of-focus and shaky shots, sorted into "Very blurry" and "Slightly soft". Nothing is pre-selected; you decide.

WHATSAPP MEDIA

Chats quietly collect more storage than anything else. Mopie shows what WhatsApp has saved here, and what's safe to clear.

- A breakdown by type – images, videos, voice notes, documents, audio, stickers, GIFs
- Media you sent – the other person has it, and your gallery usually does too
- Old media – 3, 6 or 12 months
- Large videos, duplicate copies, and viewed statuses
- WhatsApp Business is kept separate, with its own totals

REVIEW WITH CONFIDENCE

- Every group is labeled by the space it frees
- Filter by photos, videos, audio, documents, and archives
- Select every copy in a set with one tap; the original stays locked
- Slide your finger across a gallery to pick dozens at once
- Long-press any file to open it in your own gallery or viewer before you decide

DELETE SAFELY

- Every delete shows the count and the space before you confirm
- Move to Trash and restore it later, or delete permanently
- Mopie tells you up front if a file can't go to Trash
- Cancel at any time, and your selection stays exactly as you left it

See everything in your phone's trash in one place, sorted by how many days each item has left. Restore photos, videos and music with one tap, delete items for good, or empty the trash to free the space now. A short guide explains which files can be restored. Restoring is always free.

APP MANAGER, FREE FOR EVERYONE

Find apps you haven't opened in months that still hold space. Sort by cache, least used, size, or A–Z. See each app's cache, data, and size, and when you last opened it. Jump to its App info page to clear the cache, or uninstall with Android's own prompt. Mopie reads only sizes and usage dates, never what you do inside an app.

WHY MOPIE ASKS FOR PERMISSIONS

- All files access – to find duplicates, large files, similar photos and videos, and chat media across your storage. Used only to scan and to delete what you select.
- Usage access (optional) – to show app sizes and last-used dates in the app manager.
- Notifications – to show scan progress.

Scanning and reviewing are always free, and you can clean a generous amount at no cost. Upgrade to Mopie Pro for unlimited cleaning, with Monthly, Yearly, or one-time Lifetime plans. Sign in with Google if you'd like to keep Pro on a new phone. It's optional.

AN HONEST CLEANER

Mopie doesn't "boost" your phone or clear RAM. It helps you find what's taking up space and get it back, on your terms. Clearing chat media won't change the app size Android shows in Settings – that's mostly chat history, which Mopie never touches.
