About this app

For every success story, there are many you never hear. TrueOdds shows the other side.

People share what happened when they went after the same goal: opening a café, changing careers, moving abroad, starting a business, learning a skill. Some made it, some didn't, some are still trying. Put together, their stories show the real odds before you start.

SEE THE REAL ODDS
Each goal shows how many people made it, how many didn't and how many are still trying, once enough stories are in.

READ BOTH SIDES
Real stories from people who succeeded and people who didn't, with the time and money it took.

TELL YOUR SIDE
Share your own story in a few taps: the goal, how it went, what helped and what got in the way. Post under a display name, or anonymously.

A SAFE COMMUNITY
Clear community rules, report any story in one tap, block people you don't want to see, and stories with several reports are hidden until we review them.

TRUEODDS PREMIUM
Reading and sharing stories is free. Premium adds:
• Every reason people didn't make it, ranked
• What made it work for the people who did
• Typical time and money on both sides
• Filters: country, age, budget and time
• Compare two goals side by side

New members get Premium free for 3 days. After that Premium is an auto-renewing subscription: $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year (or the equal price in your currency), billed by Google Play. It renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions.
