Anyone can make a convincing fake image now. 4Real is how you prove yours isn't.
The moment you press the shutter, your phone signs the photo or video with a key that never leaves the device. The signature covers the image itself, when it was taken, and, if you allow location, where. Change one pixel afterwards and the signature stops matching.
Share the picture anywhere. Anyone can check it, free, with no account and no app to install: they scan the code on the image, or drop the file at 4real.digital.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your vault lives on your devices, not on a platform. Captures sync between your own phone and computer, peer to peer and end-to-end encrypted. Relays that help your devices reach each other only ever hold data they cannot read. We never see them. The only captures that ever reach us are the ones you choose to publish.
WHAT YOU GET
• Signed at capture. Photos and video, signed on your phone the second you take them.
• Unlimited public captures, video too. No monthly cap.
• A public record of everything you publish. It stays up until you choose to withdraw it.
• Checking a capture is free, for anyone, of anything, always. No account required.
• 20 private captures, kept 90 days, for the ones that are not for everyone yet.
• Edits are kept honest. Crop, rotate or adjust and the record shows what changed, rather than pretending nothing did.
• Your originals stay yours. The full-size file never leaves your phone unless you publish it.
• Link all your own devices, by a single-use code. You decide which devices are in, and you can remove one at any time.
• Everything on the device is encrypted at rest behind your master password.
HOW PEOPLE USE IT
Documenting damage before a landlord disputes it. Filing a photo you need believed. Proving a delivery arrived in the state you say it did. Showing a brand the shoot is yours. Anything where "trust me" is not quite enough.
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
It does not tell you a photo is true. It tells you this camera took this image at this time, and that nobody has altered it since. That is a smaller claim than "real", and it is one we can actually keep.

A smaller, cleaner verify badge, now in the top-right corner of every photo and video, with a short link anyone can scan.
The camera shows the whole frame and outlines where the badge will go. Video recorded sideways plays the right way up.
