I'd only used the app sparingly because the ad implementation was among the absolute worst for any app I've ever used. But recently I needed to use it again briefly and the ads were surprisingly no longer intrusive. I was about to buy the premium version just now (ironically having obnoxious ads makes users less likely to pay for premium) but the price has nearly doubled. I assume this is due to new AI features being advertised, which I neither need nor want. Guess I may need to switch apps.

Hey, thanks for your review, it really helps us improve the app. Regarding the price and premium it's completely optional, you can always download from fdroid and github as the project is open source. We updated the price because we adding more developers and paying them to improve Acode. Thank you again for understanding. Happy coding 😊

Great code editor, and I was impressed at how well the JS/HTML preview works. Sometimes it's nice to be able to review a codebase and make small changes when away from my main PC. I can recommend Syncthing-fork to connect the two. Recently I've been having this problem where files can't be saved or loaded at all. I can see folders in the file hierarchy, but no files. I don't think I messed up file permissions. The result is that I haven't used this program in a while. Awaiting an update.

Hi Philip, thank you for your review. I would recommend you to clear app data and go to files and tap on add icon (+) in top right corner and select add path. Google has rejected the app update due to file permissions so, I had to comply with their policies. Read this for more information https://acode.foxdebug.com/faqs/224761680

IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT! Tried pro & had an issue. Requested & received refund. Within that time the Developer had responded to my issue, pushed a fix & released an update! So I re-purchased the pro version again. 😁 Just the settings alone are worth paying this developer for their time. I don't code, but I can't stand browsing source or logs without syntax highlighting. Now I never have to remote into my desktop to view data! Pay for this, you won't be sorry.
