Send files offline between Android and iPhone using animated QR codes.

FrameSend is a cross-platform file transfer app that works without internet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile data, cables, accounts, or cloud uploads.

One phone displays a stream of animated QR codes while the other phone scans them with its camera. The file moves directly from screen to camera.

HOW FRAMESEND WORKS

1. Open FrameSend on both phones.
2. Tap Send File on the sending phone.
3. Choose the file you want to transfer.
4. Open Receive File on the other phone.
5. Point the receiving camera at the animated QR codes.
6. Keep both devices steady while the file is reconstructed.
7. Wait for file integrity verification.
8. Save or share the verified file.

ANDROID TO IPHONE FILE TRANSFER

FrameSend can send small and medium files from Android to iPhone without requiring both phones to use the same operating system, wireless sharing service, account, or local network.

It also supports file transfer from iPhone to Android using the same screen-to-camera process.

QR CODE FILE TRANSFER

Unlike ordinary QR sharing apps that use a QR code only to connect devices or open a web link, FrameSend carries the file data through a sequence of animated QR frames.

The receiving phone scans the frames, reconstructs the original file, and verifies its integrity before Save and Share become available.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Your file is not uploaded to a server or stored in the cloud.

FrameSend does not require:

• Internet access
• A user account
• Nearby-device discovery
• Local network access
• Cloud storage
• Advertising or analytics services

Only camera access is needed when receiving a file.

FILE INTEGRITY VERIFICATION

FrameSend uses SHA-256 verification to check that the reconstructed file matches the original transfer data.

Save and Share remain unavailable until verification succeeds. Incomplete or corrupted transfers are not presented as completed files.

Choose the profile that works best for your devices and environment.

Reliable

The recommended default for dependable QR scanning across different phones, screens, cameras, and lighting conditions.

Balanced

Uses a higher transfer rate while maintaining practical scanning reliability.

Fast — Experimental

Uses denser QR frames and a higher presentation rate. Results may depend on the phone camera, display, distance, movement, and lighting.
