About this game

Accord rapide is a game of chord recognition and execution, born in a music classroom and built for practice.

A chord appears. You have to play it before time runs out. The faster you are, the higher the mark: ten points if the chord goes out at once, only one if you place it at the last moment. Ten rounds, a mark out of 10 at the end.

THREE LEVELS, THREE DEMANDS
• Easy - 12 seconds to find and play the chord
• Medium - 6 seconds
• Hard - 3 seconds; you have to know your chords by heart

TWO WAYS TO PLAY
• On a MIDI KEYBOARD plugged into the device: the three notes are struck together, as at the conservatoire. That is the original exercise.
• On the ON-SCREEN PIANO, with no equipment at all: the notes are placed one after the other, so the game allows one extra second for that. Nobody is punished for not owning a keyboard.

WHAT IT TRAINS
The 24 perfect major and minor chords, how they are built, and above all the speed of finding them under your fingers. French note names (DO RE MI) or English ones (C D E), as you prefer.

FOR TEACHERS
A session mode lets you create a class code: students enter it before playing, and their marks out of 10 are grouped automatically. No sign-up, no personal data. The report shows whether the student played on a keyboard or on screen.
