If you have been stopped, reported, or sent a court summons for a driving offence, this app tells you where you stand before you speak to anyone. It is made by Frank Rogers Law, a solicitors' practice that does nothing but motoring law (SRA number 800795).

Frank Rogers Law is a private solicitors' practice. This app is not provided by, endorsed by, affiliated with, or connected to the DVLA, the Ministry of Justice, the Sentencing Council, the police, HM Courts and Tribunals Service, or any other government entity. It does not offer any government service and cannot process anything on your behalf. Where the app explains the law, that information comes from the official government sources listed at the end of this description, and those sources are the authority - not us.

PENALTY CALCULATORS
- Speeding: choose the speed limit and the speed alleged, and see what the law provides at that level.
- Drink driving: enter your breath, blood, or urine reading and see how far over the legal limit it is.
The app deliberately does not predict what your own fine or your own penalty points will be. Sentencing is a decision for the court. Both work without a signal. Neither asks for your name.

What’s new

A wording update. The app now reads in the register of a solicitors' practice
rather than in casual conversation - 98 wording changes from a language review
of every screen. The firm is now correctly described as a law firm.

Two small defects fixed: a saved calculation could read "with your a notice of
intended prosecution", and the message prepared for the firm put your name
before the greeting.

No new features. No figure, date or legal statement changed.
