How it works:
• Open the map and see what's up for grabs in your neighborhood
• Tap a pin to check photos and details
• Walk over and grab it, if it's still there
• Putting something out? Saw something on the street? List it.
What makes it different:
Free the Stuff isn't built for selling — only for what's literally sitting outside to take. Nobody has to negotiate or reply to messages. No prices, no haggling, no shipping. And unlike neighborhood social networks, you don't need to verify your identity or address.
Local and current:
Free the Stuff shows finds within ~25 km of your location. Posts expire after
7 days, so you don't waste a trip on things that are long gone.
Less stuff in the rain, less stuff in the landfill.
