Good remake Just like the original, except with a redo feature to skip back to your last victory. Unfortunately, it's bugged out for me at the moment. When I failed to avoid the portcullis, it considered my last victory to be the moment I'm lying on the ground with metal bars in my head. Any attempt to go back to the last victory just takes me to the moment of death again.
Such a classic game, well done This is a CLASSIC game from my childhood. The storyline was fantastic, and I have often thought about the game over the years. It was better than I remembered. The rewind feature of the game saved me from restarting over and over. Only took 59 minutes to play through the entire game. I had forgotten about the bars trap, and the stupid eagle!!! But it was satisfying to hug my princess at the end!
* * Excellent Rendition * * This is a great from the past. This version is full of options, switching from the classic green/amber to color was just as I remember it. (CRT and LCD). Sound is exactly as I remember with a nice surprising load icon and whirring 5.25 disk drive. What a hoot. The only thing that was missing was, if you put the 5.25 disk in upside down, you could play the game that way. The developers simplified this. Just rotate your device 180 degrees. I am quite happy with this game.
Alright! Brings back memories of days of old, when playing this on an Apple ][e or C64/128. I don't remember getting too far in the game before and so far it feels like everything has been included in the game as it was originally. If you're a fan of the original Karateka, you'll enjoy this. Overall, I haven't noticed any glitches or experienced and crashes.
Fun to play. Takes me back to golden days of gaming on Apple II. Please make more! Choplifter, Olympics, etc...
Time machine Wow. I remember playing this 20 years ago and this is so alike the actual game. GREAT JOB!
