i don't get the review score, for the app is working fine for me, and there are no ads. it would however be great if there was a quick status panel icon to turn on and off the app, instead of having a permanent notification. lastly, please do something about better consumption, even with the option to consume less battery, it consumed too much for what it does.

I got fooled. I get the idea. it's supposed to gain microphone access, and maintain that access, per your settings, preventing other apps from (mis)using the mic. I even paid for this app, only to discover later that no matter the settings, it will eventually (minutes) release the lock on the microphone. For years I've had a camera blocker that always works, but still I have no luck finding the same in a mic blocker.

Very nice piece of mind. App manages the mic at the permissions level on individual apps. Some apps can be exempt (like any app that might listen to you all of the time and record everything, then offer an advertisement for something you talked about in the house but never mentioned "on-line). But I digress. Honestly, this app can even simply make some or all apps available to the phone for a set time (like 1 minute). I love it.
