About this app

Open every document you get — PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plain text and images — in one app. Then actually do something with them: scan paper into a PDF, pull the text out of a photo, convert between formats, and sign without printing.

READ EVERY FORMAT
• PDF — search inside the document, jump to any page, open the outline, rotate, zoom, read in portrait or landscape, and turn on night mode to invert the page in the dark
• Word (.doc, .docx) — page numbers, portrait or landscape
• Excel (.xls, .xlsx) — a tab bar to move between sheets
• PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx) — full-screen slides
• Text (.txt) — select, select all and copy
• Images (.jpg, .png and more) — pinch to zoom

SCAN PAPER INTO A PDF
The camera finds the edge of the page and crops it for you. A grid and a level help you shoot straight, and filters clean up the result. Shoot several pages and they land in one PDF.

GET TEXT OUT OF A PICTURE
Point the camera at a page, a receipt or a whiteboard and the app reads the characters back as text you can copy, share or save as a .txt file. Recognition runs on your phone. The picture is never uploaded anywhere.

CONVERT
• Images to PDF
• Word to PDF
• PowerPoint to PDF
• PDF to Word — pages you scanned with the camera stay as images, so the layout does not fall apart
• Create a new PDF from scratch

SIGN AND MARK UP
Draw your signature with a finger and place it where it belongs. Draw, highlight and add text on top of a PDF.

NINE READY DOCUMENT TEMPLATES
Letter, CV, summary report, invoice, meeting minutes, poster, invitation, certificate and to-do list.

KEEP FILES IN ORDER
Browse by file type, see what you opened recently, bookmark what matters, search by name, and sort by date, name, type or size. Rename, share and check file details. Deleting is safe — files go to a recycle bin first. Pin a document to your home screen, add one of four widgets, or pick one of eight launcher icons.

Reorder and rotate pages inside a PDF, and print straight from the app.

WHEN IT COMES IN HANDY
A boarding pass or ticket that arrived as a PDF. A CV to check before you send it. A work spreadsheet you only need to read. Lecture slides. A rental contract to sign. A pile of receipts before a tax return. A manual you would rather search than scroll. Old paper certificates you want to keep as files.

Opens .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, .txt, .jpg and .png — so you do not need a separate word reader, spreadsheet viewer, slide viewer and photo viewer on the same phone.

Dark, light or follow the system. Available in 17 languages.

One app instead of four: a PDF reader, an all-document reader for the whole Office set, a document scanner and OCR. No office suite to install, and page editing here means reordering and rotating.

Free with ads. A one-time purchase or a monthly or yearly plan removes them.
