I've been a player of Original Song Pop since it began. It used to be an awesome game, but they've changed it in the last year. They play more obscure & unknown songs. They completely removed a 70's song category, unfortunately. The timed algorithm is not realistic. Guess a song in less than a second is nearly impossible now because their idea of 1 second is actually half a second. Plus, points won are either added or deducted, making it not true numbers. So basically, the game cheats now.

There are three main issues that I have with this app. The first is that after about 20 minutes of playing, it starts to freeze, forcing me to close the app, clear the cache, and open again. The second is the limit on coins earned, which classic doesn't have. The last is having to buy levels on playlist to continue progression, which when combined with the coin timer, leads to abandoned playlists. In all honesty, I'd recommend playing Classic over this

I'm really frustrated with where this game has gone. I loved this game back in the day to the point where I purchased the premium edition. So much for that since I can't play it anymore. I tried this out, and the amount of ads I had to sit through infuriated me. This game has become another staple of the worst monetized mobile games out there. The fact that I feel required to pay a monthly fee to enjoy basic features like utilizing more than one Playlist is a huge red flag. This isn't okay.
