FreshSave is a food expiry tracker and fridge & pantry inventory app that tells you what to use before it expires. Scan a barcode or scan an expiration date, and FreshSave sorts your groceries by what goes bad next.

Track expiry dates across your fridge, freezer, and pantry, cut food waste, and turn leftovers and near-expiry ingredients into AI recipe ideas. Groceries are expensive enough already — FreshSave helps you use what you already bought before it expires.

• Barcode scanner — auto-fill the product name. A 3-step lookup covers both local groceries and global brands.

• Expiration date OCR — point your camera at a printed date and FreshSave reads it and suggests the most likely expiry date. Manual entry is one tap away.

• Smart inventory — food is sorted automatically by expiry date. "Expiring soon" and "Fresh" filters show what to cook now instead of what you bought last week.

• Quick date entry — Today / 3 days / 1 week / 2 weeks / 1 month / 3 / 6 months / 1 year buttons. Most groceries fit one of these.

• Three storage zones — fridge, freezer, and pantry, kept on separate screens so frozen leftovers don't get buried.

• Expiry reminders — alerts 3 days and 1 day before, so you can plan dinner instead of panicking.

• AI recipe generator (Pro) — pick a few items from your "expiring soon" list and get recipe ideas built around what you actually have.

• Cross-device sync (Pro) — items added on your phone show up on your tablet.
