About this app

Fret Driver is the work app for Fret drivers and delivery personnel. It allows you to view your daily route, navigate to each stop, and register deliveries with a photo and signature, all from your phone.

Important: This app is exclusively for drivers with a Fret-activated account. It is not an app for customers or the general public. If you are not a Fret driver, this app will not be of any use to you. To log in, you need the phone number registered with Fret; you will receive a verification code via WhatsApp to log in.

What you can do with Fret Driver:

- View your daily route: Check your assigned stops, their order, and the address of each delivery.

- Navigate to each stop: Open the destination address in your map app for easy directions.

- Register proof of delivery (POD): Take a photo of the delivery and capture the recipient's signature directly on the screen. - Confirm recipient: Record the recipient's name and, optionally, their RUT (Chilean tax ID) and delivery notes.

- Geolocate delivery: Upon confirmation, the app records your location only once to associate it with the delivery receipt. There is no background tracking or continuous location monitoring.

- Work in an organized way: Review your progress and record each completed stop.

Simple and secure login:

- Log in with the phone number Fret has on file.

- Receive a one-time password (OTP) via WhatsApp.

- Your session is securely saved on your device until you log out or it expires.

Privacy and permissions:

- Location (precise and approximate): Used only once upon confirming each delivery to geolocate the delivery receipt. The app does not track your location in the background.

- Camera: Used to take the photo for the delivery receipt.

The app contains no advertising, does not include third-party analytics, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not sell your data.

The data for each delivery (photo, signature, recipient's name and optional RUT [Chilean tax ID number], date, time, and location of the delivery) is transmitted in encrypted form (HTTPS) and securely stored to support Fret's operations. To provide the service, this data is processed by our infrastructure provider (Supabase), our transportation management system (Drivin), and Fret's internal staff. It is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes. Data processing is carried out in accordance with current Chilean legislation, including Law 19.628 on the protection of privacy and Law 21.719 on the protection of personal data. To use Fret Driver, you need to:
- Be a driver or delivery person with an account enabled by Fret.

- Have the phone number registered with Fret and access to WhatsApp to receive the verification code.

- Internet connection and camera and location permissions to record deliveries.

Fret Driver is an internal tool of Fret Latam SpA designed to simplify the driver's daily work: less paperwork, better-documented deliveries, and everything in one place.
