About this app

BIUM is a local-first fridge inventory app for keeping track of food expiry dates without turning your kitchen into another complicated dashboard.

Add food by scanning the printed date on a package, then confirm the date, choose the item, set the storage location, and save it to your local inventory. When the camera is not available, manual entry stays quick with date shortcuts, food chips, location chips, and a simple quantity stepper.

Your home screen works like a compact food receipt. Items are sorted by the shortest remaining storage time, so you can see what to use first before it expires. Each food tile shows the location, item name, remaining days, and expiry date in a dense 4-column grid.

BIUM also includes a local shopping list and monthly receipt-style report. Mark food as consumed, discarded, or frozen, add items back to shopping, and review your month without creating an account or syncing your food records to a backend.

Camera images are used only for on-device date recognition. They are not permanently saved by the app and are not uploaded to a server.

BIUM PRO unlocks unlimited active food items, continuous quick add, opened-food reminders, custom storage locations, auto shopping rules, detailed monthly reports, and report sharing.
