Ratings and reviews

Pretty disappointing, I got this in hopes that it would be a replacement to Bee.computer which worked great but they since have become unavailable on android a couple months after purchasing it. I'm getting the sense that its not intended to be left on all the time like Bee. It requires constant attention to sync data which kills the battery, and the transcription is an absolute mess. Transcription seems to think I'm watching a video outro on repeat and transcribed things not even happening.

The app is good when it works properly, but I find it disconnects and seems to stop recording and I find I miss conversations I thought were recorded but are not. It feels like something that should be more thoroughly tested as I find more glitches every time I use it. Connecting plugins is hit or miss and some are broken.

So far, this has been pretty solid. I'm really surprised that it does everything better than Plaud IMO. My friend had Plaud so I got to try it for a week. I've only had OMI for a week and it's been really good. Of course there is one issue that I've been running into. I would not sync a whole days worth of recordings. I think the battery optimization in Android was hindering it. If the Dev team sees this then there is my critique. I appreciate the awesome device and hard work that this is. 🤗
