About this app

Friendster is a private social network built for real-life friends.

Add friends in person, then share updates, photos, and messages inside your actual friend network — not a follower graph.

What you can do:

• Post updates and photos to your feed
• React and comment
• Message friends one-on-one or in small groups
• Manage your profile and notification settings

Friendster is designed to be simple and intentional:

• Friends-only network (no suggested strangers)
• No ads. No algorithms.
• Privacy-first: we don’t sell your data.

Ratings and reviews

I'm sorry for this rating. But only the name Friendster is back but it's definitely not the Friendster we used to know. 😩 This app is somehow like just a plain messaging app. Can't even show any people on the search bar. It's also concerning that once you uninstall it or change phone, everything will be gone (as in wiped out) as there's no login feature so nothing will be saved. Pass for now. I'd prefer Friendster on browser where we can customize—if there ever is. 🥹

After last update the app no longsr opens. It crashes as soon as you tap on the app. Previously, it still runs despite the long loading feed, but now ot doesn't run at all on my phone. Couldn't log in using my google account on ios either. Fix this and I will change my review.

Not working. App crash. Looking foward for you to fix this. It's not crashing anymore. But when I sign in with email and password, it doesn't work. no error message. Nothing happens when I Sign in with google.

What’s new

Improved home feed loading and profile metadata handling. Fixed stale feed content remaining visible when refreshed data changes access or metadata loading fails.
