The app provides powerful route management capabilities, enabling users to add, edit, and organize bus stops with accurate GPS location mapping. Based on the selected route, the app automatically displays a student list categorized by stop locations, making it easy to manage pickups and drop-offs efficiently. Drivers can also view the estimated arrival time for each stop and the overall expected time to reach the school.

Student Attendance and Pickup-Drop Tracking
The app simplifies student attendance management during transit. At each stop, the driver or conductor can mark students as Present, Absent, or Cancelled by Parents during pickup, and as Dropped or No Show during drop-off. Every time a student is picked up or dropped off, their parents receive instant notifications through the Friendsup Teacher Student app. Additionally, the system alerts parents when the bus is approaching their child’s stop. Parents can also view the estimated arrival time of the bus for their child's stop, helping them prepare in advance.

Live Notifications and Admin Reporting
Real-time updates keep both parents and school administrators informed throughout the journey. The Friendsup School Bus Tracker sends instant notifications via the parent app and collects detailed data on trip activities. School admins can access comprehensive reports on attendance, route performance, and trip analytics. The app also tracks total trip time, time spent between stops, and distances covered. If the driver exceeds a predefined speed limit, an over-speed alert is automatically sent to the school admin.

Emergency and Maintenance Alerts
Safety is a top priority. In case of emergencies, drivers or conductors can long-press an emergency button to send an alert with a custom siren sound and the bus’s live location directly to school admins. They can also attach photos or videos of the incident for better clarity and quicker response. For routine operations, drivers can mark the bus as under maintenance, which immediately notifies the admin panel and ensures timely action.

Multi-language and Theming Options
To accommodate diverse users, Friendsup School Bus Tracker supports multiple languages including English, Hindi, and Gujarati. Schools can also request additional languages, which can be integrated within a day. The app also offers multiple theme options, allowing users to personalize the interface according to their preference and comfort.
