Frostnote is an offline notepad for recording the first and last frost dates by location. Add the gardens, orchards, and potted plants you monitor, record typical frost dates as MM-DD, and save a short note to this phone.
Add a Location
Give each location a short name and an optional zone, such as a sheltered flower bed or an open field. Enter the first frost (autumn) and last frost (spring) as month-day, for example, 10-18 or 04-12. Add a note about what you want to remember about that location.
Home List
The home screen lists your locations with a concise summary of the first and last frost dates. The counters at the top show how many locations you have, how many have both dates, and how many still need a date.
Details and Frost-Free Period
Open a location to see the first frost, last frost, and frost-free period in days, from the last frost in spring to the first frost in autumn. This period is a private planning note for that location. It's not a weather forecast and doesn't change anything outside the app.
Edit and Delete: Rename a place, change its zone, update the dates, or review the note from Edit. Delete removes that place from this phone. The others remain the same.
Guide and Settings: The Guide explains the first frost, last frost, and frost-free period in clear steps. In Settings, you can load a sample list to see the screens, or clear everything and start with an empty list.
Frostnote saves place names, zones, frost dates, and notes only on this phone. There's no account, no cloud sync, and no ads. The app doesn't use the internet. It's a simple offline notebook of frost dates you want to keep organized by location.
