About this game

Stake: Heartwood is a cozy garden-strategy game about growing a living
magical tree and coaxing a whole world of wondrous fruit from it. Draw roots,
mix natural essences, and watch new varieties bloom — a gentle, unhurried game
you can pick up for a minute or lose an afternoon in. No account, no ads, no
timers pushing you to pay. Just you, the Heartwood, and the quiet village of
Stake.

At the centre of everything stands the Heartwood. Drag a root from its trunk to
a nearby node — a Spring, a Sun Crystal, a Moonstone, a Flower Meadow — and that
node's essence begins to feed a branch. Combine Water and Light and a Dawn Apple
ripens; blend Dream and Aroma and a glowing Star Berry appears. Every branch is
a small experiment, and every fruit you discover is added to your journal.
Harvest ripe branches, then decide what to do with your crop.

Take two fruits to Tart's Lab and brew them into elixirs — potions that speed
growth, refill your nodes, reveal hidden places, or double your next harvest.
Sell your surplus at Limoncino's Market for coins, and spend those coins sending
Kivia on expeditions to unlock new lands: the Misty Forest, Moon Bay, and the
sweet cliffs of Caramel Canyon, each with its own nodes and rarer fruit. Chat
with the villagers to raise your friendship and unfold a gentle story, one quest
at a time.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Drag a root from the Heartwood to a node to feed a branch its essence.
2. Wait for the branch to ripen, then tap to harvest the fruit it grew.
3. Brew fruits into elixirs, sell your surplus, and grow your tree.
4. Unlock new lands, meet the villagers, and complete their quests.
