About this app

Clear Code is a fast QR code reader and barcode scanner for your camera and saved images. Decoded content is shown before anything opens, so you stay in control of every action.

SCAN FROM CAMERA OR IMAGES

• Scan QR codes and common barcode formats with the camera
• Scan codes from saved images and screenshots
• Use the flashlight in low light
• Recognize links, text, product codes, ISBNs, Wi-Fi, contacts, phone numbers, SMS, email, locations, and calendar events

USE EACH RESULT

• Open links only when you choose
• Search for products and ISBNs
• Copy or share decoded content
• Save important results as favorites
• Start another scan directly from the result screen

FIND IT AGAIN

• Keep recent scan history on your device
• Search history and filter by content type
• Switch between recent items and favorites
• Turn history saving off or clear recent history at any time

CREATE QR CODES

• Enter text, a URL, or other content
• Preview the QR code before saving
• Save the generated QR code as an image

QUICK ACCESS

• Long-press the app icon to open Scan, Image, or History

PRIVACY AND CONTROL

• No account required
• No in-app ads
• Scanned content, selected images, history, and generated QR content are not uploaded by Clear Code
• Firebase Analytics may send limited app and device information, approximate region, and feature-usage events for quality improvement. It does not include scanned content, source images, history, or generated content, and can be turned off in Settings
• External actions are handled by Android or the app you select, only after you tap an action
