TELIA SAFE
Developed in collaboration with F-Secure, Telia SAFE is a fraud protection application that protects all smart devices and computers and their users from cyber fraud.

ANTI-FRAUD PROTECTION
With Telia Safe, you can browse the web without worry, as all dangerous websites are blocked. You can see on each website whether it is a safe website.
• The service also blocks fraudulent SMS messages, classifying them as Spam SMS.
• The service blocks advertisements
• The service ensures that online shopping and banking are as safe as possible by displaying the safety level of these pages.

VPN
A virtual private network creates a secure and encrypted connection between your device and the network, hiding your IP address and routing all traffic through another route. This means that you are more protected against attacks, as your data is not directly on the network. In addition, it is possible to change your geographical location with a VPN.

CONTENT FILTERING
You decide what content your family members can access. With Telia Safe, you can block websites with indecent or violent content on different devices.
• The ability to choose which content (e.g. alcohol, violence, etc.) is blocked on your (child's) device.
• If you go to a website, advertisement or social media post with the corresponding category of content, the Telia Safe application will block it.

DATA LEAK MONITORING
• With the ID protection functionality, you can check for leaks of your personal data online. For example, where your usernames and passwords may have been leaked.
•     The password manager allows you to save all your passwords in one place and access them easily, and you can also use the application to create strong and unique passwords yourself if necessary.

This application uses the Device Administrator permission

THIS APPLICATION USES VPN SERVICES
• Collects metadata such as traffic volume, country of origin and IP address
• Analyzes traffic for suspicious and malicious files and destinations (URLs)
• Regulates traffic based on family rules when this feature is enabled in the application
• Automatically filters traffic to prevent violations of our Terms of Use
• Collects statistics to give you an overview of the measures taken, such as the volume of protected traffic

THIS APPLICATION USES ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES

Telia SAFE uses the corresponding rights with the active consent of the end user. Accessibility rights are used for the Family Rules feature, and in particular:
• Allows parents to protect their child from inappropriate online content
• Allows parents to apply device and application usage restrictions to their child. The Accessibility service can be used to monitor and limit the use of applications.
