METRO HCMC is a free application operated by Urban Railway Company No. 1 in Ho Chi Minh City (hereinafter referred to as HURC1) to share information: About stations; fare plan; relevant regulations and guidelines on urban railways; recruitment needs of Company HURC1.

Easily look up the route and diagram of the urban railway line No. 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien); Calculate the cost of fare according to the route to find the location of the entrance and exit at the station.

Users can submit an application for recruitment by HURC1 and view recruitment results through the application.

Horrible. Forces google account login, doesn't work unless always updated, and very unintuitive layout.

As an English speaker, I was amazed at how well the first version of the app worked only 3 weeks after the first trains started running at the HCMC Metro. There are still a few sections of the app where it would be helpful to be translated into English. However all the critical information is already provided in English in addition to Vietnamese. Congratulations to the developers for making the Metro so easy to use for anyone who speaks English.
