METRO HCMC is a free application operated by Urban Railway Company No. 1 in Ho Chi Minh City (hereinafter referred to as HURC1) to share information: About stations; fare plan; relevant regulations and guidelines on urban railways; recruitment needs of Company HURC1.

Easily look up the route and diagram of the urban railway line No. 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien); Calculate the cost of fare according to the route to find the location of the entrance and exit at the station.

Users can submit an application for recruitment by HURC1 and view recruitment results through the application.

Ratings and reviews

As an English speaker, I was amazed at how well the first version of the app worked only 3 weeks after the first trains started running at the HCMC Metro. There are still a few sections of the app where it would be helpful to be translated into English. However all the critical information is already provided in English in addition to Vietnamese. Congratulations to the developers for making the Metro so easy to use for anyone who speaks English.

Currently causes a glitch on android that overrides the lock screen. When you lock your phone and later try to unlock it with the app active, the app will override your normal lock screen. This means that the currently open HCMC Metro HURC page on your phone replaces the normal lock screen so you cannot enter your code or fingerprint. A back button appears, but is sometimes unresponsive. In other words, your phone can be stuck in app and you cannot get out.

Horrible. Forces google account login, doesn't work unless always updated, and very unintuitive layout.
