About this game

Masks, sculptures, textiles, ceramics, jewelry, musical instruments: Gundo invites you to restore 120 objects of African heritage, one puzzle at a time. Each reconstructed object reveals its information sheet: what it is, where it comes from, how it was made, what it meant, and the story of the people who created it.

ONE PUZZLE, ONE STORY
• Photos of real objects, from the Bogolan loincloth of Mali to the Nok head, including treasures from the Nile Valley.

• Four difficulty levels: 9, 16, 25, or 36 pieces. Each object has its own unique cut.

• A hint when you get stuck, and your game resumes where you left off.

• Once the object is restored, its information sheet is unlocked: origin, creation, culture, map of the people, anecdote, and historical context.

EXPLORE SIX REGIONS AND MILLENNIA OF HISTORY
• West, Central, East, Southern, and North Africa, and the Nile Valley.
• A timeline to travel from Antiquity to the 20th century.

• A different item of the day, available to everyone.

• A suggestion for the next item to restore: same people, same region, or same material.

PROGRESS AND SHARE
• 13 rewards to earn: Traveler, Weaver, Sculptor, Potter, Quick Hand, No Advice…
• Ranks to climb as you build your collection and a series of consecutive days.

• Add your friends with their code and visit their gallery of restored items.

• A daily reminder, if you wish.

AT YOUR OWN PACE, YOUR OWN TASTES
• Play without an account, or sign in with Google to access your collection on another phone.

• Day and night modes, personalized wallpaper featuring your restored objects.

• Available in French and English.

GUNDO PREMIUM
Gundo is free, with ads between puzzles. A one-time purchase, with no subscription required, unlocks 55 additional objects and removes all ads.
