About this game

Tiny Space Academy is a 2D space sim where you can grow your own space agency and explore the solar system with rockets you design! You’ll face constant challenges getting your little astronauts into space. There are more than 70 different rocket components to unlock and create custom rockets. You can play the campaign and balance the cost of each rocket or play sandbox and just have fun with the gravity mechanics. The solar system is yours to explore!

Design Unique Rockets for Each Mission:
With over 70 rocket components, you can build unique rockets to explore our solar system. You can create space stations, landers, satellites, and any space craft that you can think of!

Land on Multiple Planets:
Tiny Space Academy has over a dozen unique planets and moons to explore. Each with their own mass, atmosphere and terrain challenges. Landing on some of these planets can be difficult, but with the right rocket design, your astronauts will make it down safely!

Explore Planet Surface:
You can perform an EVA while on the surface of any planet or moon. Your astronaut can explore, collect rock samples and run scientific experiments. Just be careful where you step, some planets have deep crevasses.

Learn Basic Orbital Mechanics:
Tiny Space Academy uses a simplified version orbital mechanics to make it more fun and playable. This still offers an educational experience and challenging game play.

Ratings and reviews

Excellent Game, Simple, fun, and understandable yet challenging. Not as realistic as Space Flight Simulator but offers much of the same mechanics with the addition of a great Career mode. Only one complaint - the ship construction UI could definitely use some work. Its very sensitive, often does not "grab" what i intend to grab, and requires an entire second menu to rotate, copy, and mirror parts.

I really like the game. Pretty awesome. The only thing that would make it more awesome is if you would expand the rock collecting into a full blown mining mini game. Kind of like a mining tycoon where all planets contain various and unique ores. And perhaps specialty ores that contribute directly to energy efficiency. Please do this!!!

I have to give this game a definite 4.5 minimum. Great way to dive into rockets, orbit space and explore the solar system with ease. It's very forgiving, fun and has a great deal of hidden depth within it's campaign. Surprisingly addictive and once I got the hang of getting into space and making satellites had me hooked. I would recommend using the Dpad and putting the user interface scale up to help. I couldn't find a trash bin for parts so resetting rockets happens a lot which is unfortunate.
