MUD Remote Control is a secure remote access and device management app that lets you access, view, and control your own devices during authenticated remote sessions.
Use MUD to connect to your desktop or Android device, view the remote screen, use touch and keyboard controls, manage registered devices, and start or stop remote access anytime.
Key features:
• Secure remote access
• Android Host Mode to share and control this device
• Android Client Mode to control another MUD device
• Remote screen viewer with zoom, pan, and reconnect
• Remote tap, swipe, typing, and navigation controls
• Device management and online/offline status
• Remote file management during active sessions
• Foreground notification while remote access is active
MUD uses Android Accessibility Service only during an active remote access session to perform user-approved taps, swipes, typing, and navigation actions. MUD does not use Accessibility Service to monitor you silently, read private messages, collect passwords, or perform actions without your consent.
MUD uses screen sharing permission only when you start remote access. If file management is enabled, file access is used only to browse, upload, download, or manage files during an authenticated session.
You stay in control. Remote access starts only when you sign in, grant required permissions, and start a session. You can stop remote access anytime from the app or foreground notification.
MUD uses Android's AccessibilityService API to provide its core remote-control feature. After you explicitly agree in the app and enable the service, MUD can perform taps, swipes, and typing, and read on-screen content, only during a remote-access session that you start yourself — for example to control your own phone from your computer, or to receive help from someone you trust. The service is never used outside an active session, a persistent notification is shown the whole time, no data is collected for advertising or analytics, and you can disable the service at any time in Settings → Accessibility → MUD
