About this game

Fire and water make steam. Steam and air make cloud. Keep going.

Fusion Lab starts you with four elements - fire, water, earth and air - and a bench with two slots. Drop any two in, press Fuse, and find out whether they react. When they do, a new element joins your table and pays you a discovery bonus. When they do not, you are out fifty coins and one theory.

There are 133 elements in the tree, and every single one is reachable from those first four.

HOW IT PLAYS

Pick two elements from everything you have discovered so far. The flask fills, bubbles, and the bench tells you what came out: a brand new element, something you already had, or nothing at all. There is no timer and no wrong move - just a very long chain of ideas to work through.

Early on you will find steam, lava, mud and pressure almost by accident. Later you will be staring at a list of ninety elements wondering what on earth makes a dragon. (A dinosaur and fire. The dinosaur takes a while.)

SEVEN FAMILIES

The tree grows in shape as well as size:

- Basic - the four you start with
- Natural - weather, rock, ice, oceans and everything the planet does on its own
- Life - bacteria, plants, fish, birds, beasts and eventually people
- Craft - metal, tools, brick, houses, villages, cities and bread
- Tech - engines, electricity, computers, rockets and satellites
- Cosmic - sun, moon, stars, galaxies and the space between them
- Myth - wizards, dragons, phoenixes and things that should not exist

FOUR SCREENS THAT ACTUALLY HELP

Element Table - every element you own, laid out with search and a filter per family. Everything you have not found yet sits there as a question mark, so you always know how much is left.

Recipes - the full list of what makes what, unlocked as you discover each result. Stuck? The recipe book is the closest thing to a hint, and you earn it rather than buy it.

Achievements - sixteen of them, from your first spark to finding every last element, with real progress bars rather than a locked padlock.

Statistics - discoveries, fusions run, success rate, best discovery streak and a breakdown of how much of each family you have found.

NO TIMERS, NO ADS, NO INTERNET

Everything runs on your device. There is no account, no network permission and nothing pushing you to hurry. Coins come from discoveries, so the game funds itself as long as you keep finding things.

Put it down at forty elements. Pick it up a week later and find the one you were missing.
