About this app

File Manager is a local file explorer for Android with dual-pane browsing, storage analysis, archive tools and file transfer.

Browse and organize files in shared storage. Copy, move, rename, delete, share, search and sort files and folders. Open Images, Videos, Music, Documents, APKs and Archives from dedicated categories.

Work faster with dual panes: keep two folders open side by side to compare locations, copy files or move files with fewer steps. Use bookmarks and recent locations to return to frequently used folders.

Find what uses your storage. Storage Analyzer scans folders and shows their size, helping you identify large folders and files, downloads, media, documents, archives and app-related data. Deleted items can be sent to Recycle Bin and restored before permanent removal.

Create and extract ZIP and 7Z archives, with support for TAR, GZ, BZ2 and TAR-based formats. Browse installed apps and extract APK files. Edit plain-text and code files in the built-in editor. Open Office files and PDFs with compatible apps installed on your device.

Transfer and browse files on your network. Run a local FTP or SFTP server on your Android device, or connect to saved FTP, SFTP, SMB/CIFS and WebDAV servers. An embedded terminal is available for advanced file workflows.
