The sticker price of a major purchase is rarely the number that matters. A car that costs less upfront might have higher fuel, insurance, and maintenance costs over five years. A new appliance might be cheaper than repairing the old one — or might not, once installation and energy use are factored in. Nomini lets you model the complete cost of ownership for any two options and see which one actually costs less over your chosen time horizon.

HOW IT WORKS
Set up a comparison with two options — buy versus lease, Option A versus Option B, repair versus replace. Enter every cost associated with each option: purchase price, monthly payments, insurance, running costs, maintenance, and residual value. Choose a time horizon — one year, three years, five years, ten years — and the app calculates the total cost of each option over that period, including the present value of ongoing costs. The result shows clearly which option is more expensive and by how much.
