About this app

OptiFarm is the offline-first cattle traceability platform built for South African farms. Capture what happens at the crush - births, treatments, vaccinations, weights and movements - even with no signal. Everything is saved on the device first and syncs automatically when you are back in range.

- Works fully offline. The app writes to the phone first and never blocks capture while you wait for signal.
- Designed for a gloved thumb at the crush: big targets, few taps, fast entry.
- One app for phone, tablet and web from the same account.

COMPLIANCE-CORRECT
- The registered identification mark (brand or tattoo) is treated as the legal identity of the animal, in line with the Animal Identification Act.
- RFID / EID tags are a linked, secondary convenience layer - never confused with the legal mark.
- Health, vaccination, movement, weight and reproduction records are kept as a permanent history. Corrections are added as new entries, never by erasing the past.
- Ready for the 2026 FMD vaccination scheme, with vaccination tracking and coverage.
