About this app

Tired of bad robocalls? We are too. We found a way to fight them.

Feature 1: Get Rewarded For Every Call You Block.
Each time KarmaCall blocks a call for you, you get paid for that. Payments are given as Nano cryptocurrency. When you sign up through KarmaCall with your phone number, a Nano cryptocurrency account is automatically made for your phone number, easy! You may withdraw your Nano at any time.

Feature 2: Get Paid For Hanging Up On Bad Calls.
Imagine being able to hang up on a spam phone call and forcing the caller to pay you for it! Get immediate financial revenge against spammers who waste your time. What other spam blockers pay you to block spam calls? Join us in the fight against malicious phone spammers by downloading KarmaCall today.

Note - Android 9 does not work
Due to Google’s permissions, this app will not work on Android 9.

How It Works
The only unknown numbers that can ring your phone are the ones who have left you a $0.05 deposit. If you answer and talk for more than 25 seconds, that caller gets a full refund. Less than that, you keep their deposit!

Your contacts call for free. We only record call time for callers not in your contacts list.

How Do I Sign Up?
The only information we need from you is your phone number. This service is free with no in-app purchases and no ads.
Download the app
Click the menu in the top left corner and go to “My Phone Number”
Enter your phone number and country code.
You will get a 6 digit code texted to you.
Enter that code in the next screen.
Now, you are all done!

Do I Need Money In My Account?
No. You do not need money to use this app. Only people who are making calls to other KarmaCall Users need to have a balance. Remember, contact calls are not affected!

Blocked Calls List
See your blocked calls log in the side navigation bar.

What are you doing with my data?
The default option is full privacy. We do not sell your data or phone numbers. We do not use ads on our website or in our app. We give you a personal paywall. It is up to you to decide whether you want to engage with any businesses that want to pay you for your time over the phone, or whether you would rather just hang up on them and collect their deposit! If businesses start losing money every time they call you, they will eventually stop calling you. We want to give you power over your data and how it is used. If anyone should be making money from your data, it is YOU. By joining KarmaCall, you are becoming a part of the data revolution. Thanks for reading!

I've been using this app for a few months now and it's worked great. It blocks calls (yet I can still get them to go direct to voice-mail without disturbing me) that aren't on my contact list, PLUS I get paid in the Nano cryptocurrency for each call that gets blocked. How cool is that?! Win/win.

Update 6/15/2022 The dev(s) don't seem to be working on this app any more and it shows- it's not blocking anything now. Unfortunately will have to uninstall & replace with something with consistent support. Was good while it lasted. NON INTRUSIVE, which is a feature I really appreciate, but it really isn't working as well as it used to. Soooo many robocalls have been making it through lately.

Update 3/30/2023 - the devs are back working on this app - sorry for our lack of care in Mid/Late 2022. The app is blocking full-time now w/ regular updates expected. Non Intrusive is what we strive for, thank you so much! Your privacy is SO important and if ANYONE tried to invade it, we will make them pay or pay you ourselves, literally!

I just downloaded, sounds like a good idea. Is it possible to disable the icon in notification bar even when app is running? I like keep notification bar clean and I think many people would prefer that way.

Yes, but then we cannot block calls for you. The "Start / Stock Blocking" page has a button you can push to turn call blocking off when you're expecting an incoming call. This icon helps to stop calls right away. Our next major update, we aim to remove that foreground notification while still blocking calls. That icon annoys us too, but we need it

What's new

Get alerts if a call is blocked. Go to settings, choose your preference. Default: notified for each blocked call. Other option: no notifications. Daily/weekly alerts coming later.
