About this app

Game Mode Pro is the paid edition of Game Mode: the same game launcher and device-reading tools, its own interface, and no ads of any kind.

GAME LAUNCHER
Keep your games in one place. Apps that declare themselves as games are picked up automatically; anything else can be added by hand.

LIVE HUD OVER YOUR GAME
With your permission, a small floating panel appears while you play and shows what Android reports on your device: free RAM, battery level and battery temperature, network latency to a public DNS server, and your screen refresh rate. It does not show in-game FPS — no app can measure another app's frame rate — and it does not change how your game runs.

A REPORT AFTER EVERY SESSION
When you finish, the readings taken during the session become a report: ping stability, free memory and battery temperature with the raw numbers beside each score, plus playing time.

GAME INSIGHTS
What your recorded sessions show (total playtime, most played game, memory or temperature that got tight) plus how your device is right now. A button appears only where the app can actually do something.

GFX GUIDE
Based on your device's RAM, CPU cores, screen resolution and refresh rate, the app suggests a starting point for graphics, frame rate, resolution and shadows. These are suggestions to set inside the game yourself; the app cannot change a game's settings or make it run faster.

GAME MODE
Silences notifications while you play (your previous Do Not Disturb setting comes back when you turn it off). With Game HUD on, it can also keep the screen awake.

REFLEX TRAINER
Two short drills between matches: tap the instant the panel turns green, or hit twelve targets as fast as you can. Timed from the frame change to your touch, so screen and touch latency are part of the number — it measures you, not the device, and scores stay on your phone.

VIP (optional subscription)
Play history for all your games in one place, a comparison of every session with the one before, your own alert levels for memory and battery temperature, choosing which readings the HUD shows, and Auto Game Mode that switches on when a game opens and off when you leave. Everything else is included in the purchase price.

Permissions: "Display over other apps" and "Usage access" are only needed for the HUD, and the app asks for them on the HUD screen with an explanation. Notification policy access is only needed for Game Mode's Do Not Disturb.
Launch your games, watch live device readings, get a report after every session.

One star for the 30 minutes it worked without paying. This app is a scam. I paid for the pro version, which worked okay up until the point they put a big banner over my games section asking me to subscribe. It's blocking me from accessing a single title; I guess the only way to get rid of the banner is to subscribe. Pretty sleazy if you ask me. Don't waste your time with this app.

On the outside, the app seems worth it, but in reality its just the same as the lite version, just doesn't have ads. Also, if this WAS an actual game booster, it would ask you for PERMISSION to do their thing, which in this case, it just asks for notification permission. This app is a complete scam, don't purchase the app, instead save your money / play points for something else.

I have tried to use this app for awhile now and today I uninstalled this app. I was unable to find any auto boost feature that worked or even existed can not recall which, also the latency gauge didnt work most of the time. The game boosting did not appear to make any difference in play speed or any other benchmark, except for one thing, it caused my game to crash and force close after short while, around 10 minutes, which was the final nail in the coffin.
