About this app

GalleryID puts your gallery management in your pocket. Built for sports photographers and athletic departments who already use GalleryID.ai, this companion app gives you access to your galleries, athlete roster, and MatchID face recognition results from anywhere.

Search across your entire library by athlete name. MatchID does the identification work on your uploaded photos, matching faces against your indexed roster. You'll get a push notification when processing finishes, so you can review results from the sideline or the parking lot.
What you can do:
- Browse and filter galleries by visibility, event date, or title. View photos, review tagged athletes, and manage gallery settings including visibility, download permissions, and roster scope.
- Add athletes to your roster with headshots captured directly from your camera.*
- Track indexing status so you know who MatchID can identify.
- Organize athletes by team and category.
- Upload photos straight from your camera roll to any gallery. Face recognition runs automatically after upload completes.
- Review and approve MatchID results, add manual tags, or search your roster to tag athletes the recognition missed.*
- Names get written to XMP metadata when photos are downloaded, so they follow the file into Photo Mechanic, Lightroom, or wherever your workflow goes.
- Create and manage share links for client delivery. Control gallery visibility between public, private, and password-protected access.

* MatchID Face Recognition (Admin-Enabled)
- MatchID is an organization-level feature that must be enabled by your account administrator. Once enabled, admin and editor users can manage athlete rosters, upload headshots, and configure face matching scopes directly from the MatchID tab. Contact your organization admin to enable MatchID for your account.
