The Schaeffler Diagram application was created in order to quickly and easily guide people involved in welding. The Schaeffler diagram is a diagram capable of predicting the final structural phase of STAINLESS STEELS based on the chemical compositions of the base metal and the addition metal. Each region of the diagram may have a different type of failure, depending on the microstructure formed.
