About this game

When your Uncle dies unexpectedly, he leaves you his farm. However it is in terrible condition. With a small amount of starting money you must work and get the farm to a running state and not starve to death. Farm, buy, sell, cook, fish and enjoy a simple RPG Farm Simulation game. However, its more than a simulation, this is an RPG. What mysteries does this country town hold that involves the death of your uncle?


In this fusion of RPG and Farming Sim, you have to farm to eat and earn. However, the story develops as you improve the farm and explore. A Farm Tale is a game that has a storyline like an RPG, however, you have to use the standard Farm Simulation process to avoid starving to death and to earn money to complete story missions.


BETA WARNING: THIS GAME IS NOT DONE! THIS IS A BETA TEST! This app is still under development and the first stable release is expected for the end of 2017. As of now, it is released as beta in order to gain feedback, test compatibility and find bugs that were missed in development.

Ratings and reviews

Great idea, but this game has FAR too many glitches. Sometimes the buttons get "stuck" and the avatar will move on its own. Sometimes the app crashes in the middle of walking around, not doing anythjng particularly taxing on the processing. The control pad is very difficult to use as it does not respond well to user touch, sometimes it won't respond at all and other times it will assume the button has been pressed twice or three times when it's only been pressed once. As it is, the game is unplayable, and until the controls are fixed I cannot recommend it

Cute artstyle and spritework, looks like a well-done RPGMaker game on PC. However, the time, hunger, and thirst meters continue to move whilst in dialogue and cutscenes... that was the first red flag for the gameplay. Second reg flag was the tutorial. It tells you "go here and do this", that's it. I wandered around the town for 20 minutes trying to find where I build a well and how. Controls was the third and final flag. It's actually TOO smooth, the sensitivity made me walk into stuff often.

Love the game so far but it has crashed since getting it after talking to the mayor before exploring the town and after. I have also noticed that the controls seem to always have my character move downward without me even touching the screen. I can move side to side when this happens but not back up. I really hope this can be fixed so I can continue playing!

As per the request of many, the time system has been slowed drastically.

The game requires one final update to add the main sotryline, however it stands as a totally playable experince right now.
