About this game

LUMEN CATCH

LOOK BEFORE YOU TOUCH.

Unknown signals have begun appearing in space.

No one knows where they come from.

No one knows what they are.

At the observatory, we gave them a name:

ALÚ.

Your job is to capture them.

It seems easy.

A light appears.

You touch.

The sample is yours.

Until something appears that shouldn't be touched.

IT'S NOT ABOUT TOUCHING FAST

It's about knowing when to touch.

Some signals are simple.

Others move.

Some need to be captured at the right moment.

And there's one signal that doesn't want to be captured.

With each new discovery, the observatory warns:

NEW SIGNAL

Time slows down.

You observe.

And then you have to figure out what to do on your own.

No long tutorials.

No endless explanations.

Learn by playing. THE MORE YOU CAPTURE, THE WORSE IT GETS

At first, there's room to think.

Then, the signals start arriving faster.

More lights.
More speed.
More decisions.

And then the Umbras appear.

They don't emit light.

They absorb it.

Nearby stars lose intensity as they cross the field.

And you can't touch them.

One mistake reduces the collector's integrity and breaks your combo.

If the integrity reaches zero:

SIGNAL LOST.

The session ends.

But the next signal is already waiting.

TURN YOUR SEQUENCE INTO MUSIC

Each capture produces a note.

One capture.

Another.

Another.

The combo grows and the sequence begins to form a melody.

Hit the core of a signal to get a perfect capture and earn even more points.

The longer the sequence, the higher the multiplier:

10 → ×2
25 → ×3
50 → ×4
100 → ×5

Until a single mistake can ruin everything.

How long can you stay in tune?

THERE ARE SIGNALS YOU DON'T YET KNOW

Each species found is recorded in the Observatory Catalog.

At first, you only know enough to recognize it.

Then, you begin to discover its records, behavior, and characteristics.

And, as the study progresses, notes emerge from the two teams trying to explain the phenomenon:

Spectroscopy.

Dynamics.

The problem?

They disagree.

A lot.

Maybe one of them is right.

Maybe neither is.

What are ALUs?

We still don't know.

THE SIGNALS

ALU00 · Point
Small. Weak. Frequent.
The simplest of signals.

ALU01 · Pulsar
Emits in regular cycles.
The timing of the capture is everything.

ALU10 · Ray
Traverses the field at an absurd speed.
Ignore the trail. Hit the core.

ALUU0 · Umbra
Does not emit light.
Absorbs.

Do not touch.

And who knows how many other signals are yet to appear.

A FAIR CHALLENGE

Lumen Catch doesn't try to defeat you with microscopic targets.

The signals have larger touch areas than their designs and never get progressively smaller.

The challenge comes from the decisions, not from hitting a pixel.

The game was also designed not to disrupt your session:

• Important targets don't appear hidden by the scoreboard.

• An Umbra never appears directly under your finger.

• If the device experiences a performance drop, the action slows down.

• When you exit the game, your session pauses automatically.

• Lost? Restart immediately.

No waiting.

No power.

No messing around.

Just one more try.

MADE FOR MORE EYES

Lumen Catch has a flash-free mode for those who prefer a more comfortable visual experience.

Signals also never rely solely on color to be identified.

Each species has its own combination of:

color · shape · rhythm

The Umbra can also be perceived by its low-pitched hum.

Sound and vibration can be adjusted separately.

Portuguese · English · Spanish

The observatory continues to receive signals.

You continue trying to capture them.

The signal appears. You look.

You decide.

You touch.

Lumen Catch

How long does your collector last?
Capture unknown lights in space. Just don't touch the Umbra.
