About this game

Run for Words is a fast-paced arcade platform runner where you dash along winding paths, make precise turns, collect letters, and overcome obstacles to complete each level’s objective.

Simple controls, reflex-based gameplay

Your character runs forward automatically across linear platforms.
Players must turn left or right at the right moment to stay on the path, collect letters, and avoid obstacles such as spikes, saws, spinners, and swingers.

Letter chains & rising challenge

As you run, your character pulls letter carriers that store the letters you collect.
Hitting obstacles can cause letters to drop or destroy carriers.
If all carriers and letters are lost, the run ends.

Word gates & level objectives

At key platforms, word gates appear and require a specific set of letters to complete a word.
Delivering the correct letters completes the word and rewards stars.
To finish a level, you must collect enough stars before reaching the finish line.
Fail to meet the requirement and the level is lost.

Power-ups & bonuses

During each run, you can collect helpful items such as:

Coins to increase score

Magnet to attract nearby letters and items

Shield to block damage for a short time

Booster to increase the number of letter carriers

Letters and items are generated dynamically based on level difficulty.
