Glassworks is a water sort puzzle where the tubes are different sizes - and
that one change turns a familiar game into a different one.
Tap a tube to lift its top run of one colour, tap another to pour it in. A tube
is finished when it is FULL of one colour. The tubes hold two, four or eight,
and every colour's supply exactly fills one of them.
So the question is no longer "where does this colour go". It is "which colour is
this tube for" - and you have to answer it before you pour anything.
HOW TO PLAY
- Tap a tube to lift its top run of one colour
- Tap another tube to pour it in
- You can pour onto an empty tube, or onto the same colour
- Only as much goes across as fits
- A tube is done when it is full of one colour
WHY THE SIZES CHANGE EVERYTHING
One colour on the board has eight units and belongs in the tall tube. Two of
them have two units and belong in the little vials. So the tall tube is spoken
for before you touch it - and dropping any other colour into it is a perfectly
legal move that quietly costs you the board, because the eight-colour then has
nowhere left to gather. Working out which colour is the big one, before you
commit, is the puzzle.
WHAT YOU GET
- Hundreds of levels, from four tubes up to fifteen
- Tall tubes, bottles and small vials, mixed from level eight onward
- A difficulty cadence you can feel: every 5th level is HARD, every 10th SUPER
HARD, every 50th a DANGEROUS boss board
- Generous undo, because a mis-tap is a slip and not a mistake worth restarting
- A hint that follows the level's own proven solution, so it always works
- A daily challenge: one board, the same for everyone, every day
- Fourteen colour sets, twelve board designs and ten jar styles to unlock
- A level map, to go back for the ones you finished the long way round
EVERY BOARD IS BUILT FROM AN ANSWER
Levels are not scattered and hoped for. Each one is built backwards from a
finished board, so a solution provably exists before you ever see it - and the
hint reads that same proven line rather than guessing.
NO WAY TO LOSE BY WAITING

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK
Does it work offline? Yes, every level, with no connection at all.
Do I need an account? No. There is no sign-up and nothing to log in to.
Is there a timer? No timer, no lives, no move limit.
Can I lose? Only by pouring a colour somewhere it can never gather. Undo fixes
it, and the board tells you when nothing legal is left.
How is this different from other water sort games? The tubes hold two, four or
eight instead of all being the same size.
Is it free? Yes, supported by ads, and there is nothing to buy.
Glassworks is free and supported by ads. You can watch an ad by choice to earn
extra undos and hints, and coins you earn by playing unlock the colours, the
boards and the jars themselves. There is nothing to buy.
Water sort with a twist: the tubes are different sizes. Which one fits which?
