About this game

Five party games. One phone. No internet.

Group Games is a party-game hub for a group of friends or the whole family sitting around a single device — three players or fifteen, it works either way. Nothing here needs a connection, an account or a second phone: you open the app, hand it to the person next to you, and play. Every deck is already on the device, so it works on a plane, in a car, at a campsite, or anywhere the signal gives up.

FIVE GAMES

Forbidden Words — describe the word on the card to your team without saying any of the five words listed underneath it. Say one and the other team calls it. Two teams, one timer, one very frustrated describer.

Charades — act it out. No talking, no sound effects, no pointing at the answer. The oldest party game there is.

15 Words — the describing game with a budget. Your whole turn is fifteen words, and every one you spend is gone. Say less, score more.

Truth or Dare — spin the bottle, then take the question or take the dare. The deck is written to be funny rather than cruel, and there is nothing in it you would not read out in front of your family.

Imposter — everyone sees the same secret word except one player, who sees nothing. Take turns describing it without giving it away, then argue about who was faking.

HOW A NIGHT GOES

Pick a game, name the two teams or add the players, choose a deck and a round length, and start. Scores are kept for you. Every turn ends with a recap of the cards you won, passed and lost, and the final scoreboard gives an award to the best turn of the night. Play again keeps your settings and reshuffles the deck.

WHAT YOU GET

Each of the five games ships with a free deck, and more decks are available if you want them.

Cards are set large enough to read from across a room, because somebody always ends up sitting on the floor. Light and dark themes both included.

Written in English, Turkish, Spanish and French. The cards in each language are written in that language, not run through a translator.
