The app itself is fine. The service hasn't been worth it for me. Maybe because I've tried renting slightly older titles, but 3/4 of the games (PS4) sent to me had chips around the edges & were unplayable. I have no problem playing my own or friends' games. The games would start up, then stop before the main menu. To keep trying to get a good copy over & over for $15 a month, not worth it.
I have about a 10 day turnaround receiving my next disc after mailing out the last one. And rarely do I get the next game in my Q, but rather get another low dollar disc that's like number 18 on the list with a "buy it" option. What about the game that I actually like? You won't let me but that one.
App works fine. Gamefly is a good way to check out new games. Can also sometimes find good used games cheap to buy. Shipping takes forever tho. Have had multiple games come unplayable and customer service just says "sorry theres nothing we can do" than you end up waiting at least another week for a new title. Customer service is almost never helpful with any issues that may arise. Hardly worth the money.
Well, the app itself is great. Very responsive and easy to manage. However, I set up an account and I got a free month to start. I ordered my first game and after a week and a half I called them and told them that it hasn't arrived. So they decided to cancel it, and went to the next game in my Q. That one took almost a week to arrive. I tried to play it, it wouldn't work. So after 2 weeks in to my free month, I still hadn't gotten to play a game. I figured if that was any indication of how being charged $15 month to month was going to go, I emailed GameFly and told them that if my free month wasn't reset so I can properly enjoy what was mine by agreement, I was going to cancel. I got no reply, so I canceled my account. A shame too. I would have been a loyal customer.
This whole service is garbage. I've had a membership for a week I have 7 games on my list and yet nothing has even shipped out to me yet and some of them are available now. They give you a free trial because for the first month you're not even going to get a game anyway so they figure they won't charge you for it. The fact that you just have this random list of games and no confirmation on when things are going to be sent to you or anything it's just ridiculous it's like a wish list that you pay for.
I'm not a person who usually complains. I'm a new customer and so far I am not happy with the delivery services. When I order a game it takes way to long to get here and way to get back. The delivery service needs to change for the better, or I will just have to cancel my subscription and I really dont want to do that.
