Unsung Heroes is a brand new time management game from GameHouse. It follows the path of three passionate archaeologists, determined to uncover history!

In Unsung Heroes - The Golden Mask, the three girls are excavating in China. They stumble upon the story of Xi Niu, a Chinese girl who lived over a thousand years ago. You will switch back and forth between modern day and ancient China as you restore artifacts and slowly start to fill in the story behind them.

Play first as adventurous Ivy, brainy Stephanie and powerhouse Diana as they search for lost treasure. Then go into the past and play as brave Xi Niu, a girl determined to find justice for her family!

As a young girl, Xi Niu watched as her parents were brutally murdered by a man wearing a golden mask. She vows revenge, somehow, some way... 10 years later, she is unexpectedly offered a position as a courtesan in the palace. She seizes the opportunity, as it offers a way to locate the man in the golden mask.

But life is not simple in the palace. It is a snake pit of intrigue and politics and one misstep can mean death. Xi Niu will need to learn how to play the game to survive. Can this girl from the country navigate the dangerous waters of the palace to exact her revenge?

Ratings and reviews

I would rate it higher, but I'm unable to continue the game. Before the second gate, I think about level 8.2, the game has decided to perpetually crash. Despite attempting multiple ways to fix the problem (including those posted as a reply to someone else's review with this issue), the app crashes before or shortly after loading. On the positive side, the character design and story are beautiful (one of my favorites from this publisher). I wish I could continue the story to the end.

I wish I could give this a higher score. The graphics (or something) slows the gameplay and causes a few glitches if you don't have perfect reception. That was frustrating, but otherwise I enjoyed the storyline going back and forth as well as the characters. I thought it was clever. I also loved that the language was accurate (example: Nainai is her grandmother). It was fun and I really enjoy being able to complete a game! Thank you!

I really like the games from GH. However, this particular game, did not end so well. It was going along great. But at one particular spot in the game, I believe the 8th spot, it kept on freezing. I tried restarting, re-installing, nothing. It kept on freezing and I had to finally uninstall. Shame. I was just starting to get into the story.
